About Andrew

Andrew BednarzikAndrew Bednarzik, MA, LPC is the owner of Riverbank Counseling. After getting his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and his graduate degree in Community Counseling from Western Carolina, he has spent the last 9 years helping people overcome the mental challenges they face. Andrew is a lifelong athlete with a passion helping athletes with the mental aspects their sport. He is a dad of twins and has a deep well of compassion for how challenging fatherhood can be. Since 2003, he has been helping high school students overcome their anxiety about standardized tests by helping them prepare to take the SAT/ACT. He believes in the healing power of acceptance and the empowerment that comes with finding one’s purpose.
